Bored of horses?

My horse is in a meadow without grass. He has a haystack though! It seems really boring. He stands at the bottom of the meadow almost all day long. I think he is down, due to the goats and chickens. I have no other horse for him at this time but plan on getting a little bit. So please do not give all the "horses are herd animals Conference."
